Going by this popular saying, "The way you dress is the way you'd be addressed".
Disregarding the truth behind this saying is like throwing a precious jewel into the ocean. Girls dressed almost unclad and boys wearing their trousers below the waist has so become prevalent to the extent it has almost a norm. If you want to be addressed well or to be seen as someone who's worthy of respect, your dressing really matters.
Have you ever seen a male banker with his trousers below his waist or a female lawyer with a bare cleavage in the court room. The reason is not far fetched. For the sake of morality, what belongs to the private should be kept private. Have you not asked why popular divas who promote nudity and improper dressing through music, attend special functions with royalty in proper dressing. This tells me they know what is right but only out there to confuse light minded people.
Now if you're a girl who is always known for wearing dresses that expose your body on the streets or you're a boy that is always known for wearing knickers or trousers below the waist, I can assure you that you won't be given due respect and taken seriously. All you would most likely portray is simpleton and would have most likely banned opportunities at first sight.
If you want to apply for a job, will you have dressed like a tout or an harlot? No! Because you know that dressing that way you would hinder your chances of getting the job.
One of the major reasons people dress improperly is because of peer pressure. They want to earn acceptance from friends by dressing like people in their clique. Some even think the best way to get people to notice them is to dress seductively. You don't need to care what anyone will say or think. And true beauty is not who you are on the outside, but your inward self; your intangible assets.
Another reason youths dress improperly is they want to look like their music idols and popular television personalities. They forget that they are chasing their dreams and working in their own field. If your dream is to be a lawyer and you're walking into the paths that the musicians and celebrities take, you are taking the wrong path.
I want us to know that the way you dress determines the people you attract. This is the time to build the right foundation for your future and not to waste time.
Thank you and see you next week Thursday.
