TIME AND CHANCE

Ecclesiastes 9:11
"Again, I saw under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favour to the men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all"

I input this scripture because what I want to teach today was fetched from this scripture. I would be talking about opportunity in relation to time and chance in this scripture.
In the scripture above, Solomon was saying what he observed after all he saw and thereafter, he made the pronouncement. My Dad used this scripture many times when he spoke to me about preparation and how it affects the time and chance God has prepared for me to manifest to the world. I would be explaining this message carefully as I want us to get the full message. The term “again, I saw under the sun”, depicts that it’s the same 24hours God gave everyone to invest their time; both the rich and the poor have the same number of hours but what they do is what makes the difference. What makes men rich is what they did in the past or what their ancestors have done as the case may be.

Opportunity makes its presence known to those who are prepared enough to seize it. The only way you can seize your opportunity is to be ready when the chance comes to show what you used you time to do. Understanding the interplay between time and chance is essential in harnessing the power of opportunity.

“Time is your most precious gift, because you only have a set amount of it” -Rick Warren

Time, is a precious gift that determines when opportunities emerge. Every second counts because your today is a function of your yesterday; what you invested your time in yesterday is what is playing out itself today. A saying goes “what you sow, is what you reap”, you can’t expect to sow corn and reap bananas; the same applies to how you invest your time.

Chance is the unpredictable spice in life, creating a certain randomness at which opportunities occur. Unexpectable occurrence can pave way for a person to seize opportunities; this is where what you’ve done with your time plays out because the chance to prove yourself might come just once. It is left to the individual to recognize and capitalize on the moments of chance changing them to paths to success and fulfillment.

While we cannot forecast the chance opportunities would appear to us, we can choose how to respond to opportunities life present to us with how we develop ourselves over time. I hope this writeup was helpful and insightful on how time, chance and opportunity is woven together.
Thank you so much for reading till the end

LETTING GO

Happy new year everyone. I hope this write up adds to us in this new year. According to the vocapture dictionary, an habit is an action performed repeatedly and automatically usually without awareness. I would say that an habit is an action that is cultivate gradually. As human beings, we can discern from what is right and wrong. With this ability to discern, we choose to cultivate either good or bad habits. The cultivation of these habits will determine if the products will ad to your life positively or negatively and this is where our inner man comes to play and directs our actions. It is left to us to pick an action between what is wrong and what is right. The cultivation of bad habits often leads to grevious consequences. I want to point out something here; the cultivation of bad habit is easy but turning a new leaf is going to be difficult and if not careful, it could develop into an addiction> In some cases, their addiction leaves a stigma in their lives forever. To all those ...

BLOG UPDATE

Hey guys, I’m back and glory be to God. For today, I will not be speaking on anything in particular. Starting my blog, I did not have a specific field of interest to discuss with my audience but as time went by, I observed that many people of my age have interest in Information Communication Technology (ICT) but does not have the proper training or guidance to help them translate their desire into reality. This inspired me to be of help to people of my age, the elderly and the young to assist them in bringing their hopes and dreams alive; and on this note, I’m going to make this blog an ICT and technological inclined blog. Thank you.                 Please share your ideas in the comment section on what area of ICT your interest lies. This is going to be our first tech based interaction and it is going to form the essential core of engagement on this platform going forward. First, in my own perspective...

BENEFITS OF GARLIC

There are various benefits of garlic, which some will be listed here: 1. Boost immunity:  In test tubes,  garlic  appears to kill cancer cells, and studies involving people show some of the same outcomes. According to the Iowa Women’s Health Study, involving 41,000 middle-aged women, those who routinely ate garlic, fruits and vegetables had a 35 percent lower colon cancer risk. Benefits came from raw and cooked garlic – not supplements. 2. Work as an anti-inflammatory:  Research  has shown that garlic oil works as an anti-inflammatory. So, if you have sore and inflamed joints or muscles, rub them with the oil. 3. Improve cardiovascular health:  The verdict is still out on whether garlic improves your cholesterol levels, but research does indicate it can have a positive impact on your arteries and  blood pressure . Investigators believe red blood cells turn the sulfur in garlic into hydrogen sulfide gas that expands our blood vessels, making ...
