THE RUNNING CLOCK

Hello everyone, Merry Christmas, hope we all had a good time today. I want to appreciate everyone viewing my write up. Thank you.

A common saying goes “time waits for no man”, this saying would have probably been told in the days of our fore fathers for it to still be said till this present generation with the actual meaning still attached to it. When I was younger, I considered 30 minutes a very long time because back then I did not know the value that time possessed. The lockdown during the corona virus pandemic made me realize so many things; I started getting to know more about time and its importance, 30 minutes no longer seemed long to me because I began to have more responsibilities and duties that required proper time management.

During the lockdown, I got a clearer picture of how the running clock operated. Instead of staying idle at home, my father pressed me to broaden my knowledge in my field of interest through online courses since physical interactions were banned. In the beginning I did it just because it was an order that I was subjected to obey but as time went by, I noticed that I was no longer the same; my perspective of time had totally changed. Once I check the time and I see that it is two hours to an appointed time, I know time is gone already and it’s time to move.
This taught me to manage my time wisely and engage myself with something productive. Everyone has the same measure of time; the rich and the poor. Time is one blessing God gave humans in equal proportion, how you use it is what defines and makes you.

I'm sharing this message to everyone and I'm also passing it to myself; to work on our time management with the consciousness that time waits for no man. Personally I would not think of this as an easy feat because consistency is greatly required but in this new year with the grace of God, I hope we draw a clearer picture of how we wish to share our time in productive things and our various interests.

Thank you so much for reading till the end
Watch out for the next update: Time and Chance

LETTING GO

Happy new year everyone. I hope this write up adds to us in this new year. According to the vocapture dictionary, an habit is an action performed repeatedly and automatically usually without awareness. I would say that an habit is an action that is cultivate gradually. As human beings, we can discern from what is right and wrong. With this ability to discern, we choose to cultivate either good or bad habits. The cultivation of these habits will determine if the products will ad to your life positively or negatively and this is where our inner man comes to play and directs our actions. It is left to us to pick an action between what is wrong and what is right. The cultivation of bad habits often leads to grevious consequences. I want to point out something here; the cultivation of bad habit is easy but turning a new leaf is going to be difficult and if not careful, it could develop into an addiction> In some cases, their addiction leaves a stigma in their lives forever. To all those ...

BLOG UPDATE

Hey guys, I’m back and glory be to God. For today, I will not be speaking on anything in particular. Starting my blog, I did not have a specific field of interest to discuss with my audience but as time went by, I observed that many people of my age have interest in Information Communication Technology (ICT) but does not have the proper training or guidance to help them translate their desire into reality. This inspired me to be of help to people of my age, the elderly and the young to assist them in bringing their hopes and dreams alive; and on this note, I’m going to make this blog an ICT and technological inclined blog. Thank you.                 Please share your ideas in the comment section on what area of ICT your interest lies. This is going to be our first tech based interaction and it is going to form the essential core of engagement on this platform going forward. First, in my own perspective...

BENEFITS OF GARLIC

There are various benefits of garlic, which some will be listed here: 1. Boost immunity:  In test tubes,  garlic  appears to kill cancer cells, and studies involving people show some of the same outcomes. According to the Iowa Women’s Health Study, involving 41,000 middle-aged women, those who routinely ate garlic, fruits and vegetables had a 35 percent lower colon cancer risk. Benefits came from raw and cooked garlic – not supplements. 2. Work as an anti-inflammatory:  Research  has shown that garlic oil works as an anti-inflammatory. So, if you have sore and inflamed joints or muscles, rub them with the oil. 3. Improve cardiovascular health:  The verdict is still out on whether garlic improves your cholesterol levels, but research does indicate it can have a positive impact on your arteries and  blood pressure . Investigators believe red blood cells turn the sulfur in garlic into hydrogen sulfide gas that expands our blood vessels, making ...
