GRIT: PASSION AND PERSEVERANCE

Hello everyone,

I’m back and I would like to appreciate everyone who is viewing my write up after a very long time. We thank God for keeping us alive.

Today, I’m going to explain one of the major factors of success; grit. Grit is like the combination of passion and perseverance. Having talent is one thing and having the passion and perseverance to fight through the battles that they may face in the journey to success is another thing.

According to the oxford dictionary, passion is an intense enthusiasm for something while perseverance is the ability to continue in a course of action in spite of difficulty. Most people think that those that are endowed with specific talents are the ones that do well in their fields; that could be a plus but it is not the major factor of success. Let me state an example, a person could possess the talent to sing but may not have the grit to develop himself meanwhile someone that does not have the talent, but wants to progress despite the pain he might feel during the process of training the voice. There would be road blocks on the way but because of the grit that person possesses, he would not mind facing the challenges because he knows that the outcome of his work would eventually pay off.

The circle of friends and people you have around you really matters if you want to develop your grit; the passion driving you towards your goal can be watered down if the people surrounding you are not in view with the actions you make towards your goal but if they are  people in line with you, I can assure you that your desire to do better will multiply.
Keeping your goal in view also helps in enhancing the grit of a person because they would surely be setbacks and when those setbacks arise you could choose not to challenge yourself but when you write the vision and focus on what you wish to accomplish, you are ready to go!
Positive thoughts are necessities for grit because actions start from the mind so if others encourage or support you, you may not go far because the doubt in your heart will water the little progress you have made in reality thus not giving room for better ideas to flow.
There are other methods in harnessing ones grit but I'll stop here for now.

I hope this helped us to see the path to see success in a different light. Make sure to click that subscribe button if you haven’t and follow. Thank you.

According to the vocapture dictionary, an habit is an action performed repeatedly and automatically usually without awareness. I would say that an habit is an action that is cultivate gradually. As human beings, we can discern from what is right and wrong. With this ability to discern, we choose to cultivate either good or bad habits. The cultivation of these habits will determine if the products will ad to your life positively or negatively and this is where our inner man comes to play and directs our actions. It is left to us to pick an action between what is wrong and what is right. The cultivation of bad habits often leads to grevious consequences. I want to point out something here; the cultivation of bad habit is easy but turning a new leaf is going to be difficult and if not careful, it could develop into an addiction> In some cases, their addiction leaves a stigma in their lives forever. To all those ...

BLOG UPDATE

Hey guys, I’m back and glory be to God. For today, I will not be speaking on anything in particular. Starting my blog, I did not have a specific field of interest to discuss with my audience but as time went by, I observed that many people of my age have interest in Information Communication Technology (ICT) but does not have the proper training or guidance to help them translate their desire into reality. This inspired me to be of help to people of my age, the elderly and the young to assist them in bringing their hopes and dreams alive; and on this note, I’m going to make this blog an ICT and technological inclined blog. Thank you.                 Please share your ideas in the comment section on what area of ICT your interest lies. This is going to be our first tech based interaction and it is going to form the essential core of engagement on this platform going forward. First, in my own perspective...

BENEFITS OF GARLIC

There are various benefits of garlic, which some will be listed here: 1. Boost immunity:  In test tubes,  garlic  appears to kill cancer cells, and studies involving people show some of the same outcomes. According to the Iowa Women’s Health Study, involving 41,000 middle-aged women, those who routinely ate garlic, fruits and vegetables had a 35 percent lower colon cancer risk. Benefits came from raw and cooked garlic – not supplements. 2. Work as an anti-inflammatory:  Research  has shown that garlic oil works as an anti-inflammatory. So, if you have sore and inflamed joints or muscles, rub them with the oil. 3.
